Kempsey Highway Bypass Acoustic Treatment
Houses in the vicinity of the new bypass were provided with acoustic treatments to minimise noise impact from the bypass upon nearby residential properties. Northrop’s role in this project was the investigation of around 200 residential properties for the design of zoned air conditioning systems including power investigation.
Various properties presented a variety of challenges, such as solar power systems for houses not connected to the grid, power upgrades for other houses, consideration of asbestos and limited ceiling spaces.
We carefully inspected each of the properties and spoke with home owners where possible to achieve the best possible design for each property.
