Lot 17, Fairhaven Circuit, Baulkham Hills

Northrop played a key role in the Development Application (DA) for a subdivision of approximately 58 townhouses in Baulkham Hills. The civil engineering component included site earthworks, stormwater drainage provisions, water quality initiatives and road works.

Northrop collaborated with the client to explore design options that would produce the most cost-efficient outcome. This included coaching the Client through the impacts of various site constraints on the civil engineering elements.

The site for the new subdivision was landlocked, which required lengthy negotiations with neighbouring owners and developers. The outcomes of the negotiations influenced access and drainage - and the Subdivision DA soon evolved into a complex scheme that expanded across site boundaries. It was important for our team to remain responsive throughout the negotiations to provide advice and new concept designs, and facilitate the process.

Our ongoing support and service to PAYCE has provided an opportunity for further involvement in the development including a project management role.
