New appointment! Ian Van Eerden joins Northrop's sustainability team

Northrop has appointed Ian Van Eerden as our Sydney region’s Sustainability Consultant.
Ian brings over eight years’ experience in the consulting industry and joins Northrop having previously worked for NDY, The Hills Shire Council and for the Clean Energy Regulator.
Ian is a great communicator and loves getting out of the office and in front of clients. Working in a multi-disciplinary team environment was what attracted him to the role. “It’s great to have exposure to a range of projects where there is potential for sustainability to get involved early on,” Ian explains.
Northrop Sustainability Manager Amir Girgis says “Ian is a valuable addition to the Northrop Sustainability team. His experience working client-side as well as in the consulting industry means that he has a unique appreciation for what works and what doesn’t when designing viable sustainability strategies.”
