Gosford RSL project honoured with MBA Award
After two years of construction, Gosford RSL opened its new landmark clubhouse to the public in March. The project has been honored at the Master Builders Association of New South Wales Newcastle Excellence in Building Awards, winning in the $30M-$50M Commercial Projects category.
The three-storey superclub includes a new experiential dining precinct with five diverse culinary offerings, recreational spaces, a state-of-the-art conference and events centre, a sports bar and an on-site brewery and RSL museum, all under one roof.
North Construction and Building partnered with Northrop to provide top-notch civil and structural engineering services. Highlights of our work include the double-height terrace with large skylights, a striking spiral stair at the entrance, and giant roof trusses spanning over 20m with operable walls hung from them.
Congratulations to Matthew Allen and Josh Bowden in the Newcastle structural team, and Dan Holland in the Central Coast civil team for a fantastic result on this landmark community centric development offering state of the art facilities in the heart of Gosford.
