CIBSE ANZ Young Engineer Graduate Development Program of the Year

We are thrilled to have won the CIBSE ANZ Young Engineer Graduate Development Program of the Year in recognition of our unique graduate program.

We take pride in setting young engineers off on the right foot in their careers.

Judges commented “Northrop's combined written and video submission highlighted how their graduates are developed, and this aligned well with the MCIBSE development framework. Further, their submission provided detail on how they value success in the development of their grads, go about measuring it throughout. It's encouraging to see this level of technical ability development considered in their programme.”

Congratulations also to Jeff Tsang, Senior Mechanical Engineer, finalist in the Jeff Robinson Champion of the Year award. Jeff was nominated by his peers due to his passion for the professional development of young engineers. His leadership has championed a culture of excellence, which has significantly contributed to the skill development and career progression of his colleagues.

Finally, congratulations to Patrick Hillan, Undergraduate Mechanical Engineer who received runner up in the Student of the Year. Patrick is majoring in renewable energy at Australian National University and passionate about emission reductions. He is heavily involved in the electrification works projects occurring in the ACT. His nomination speech explored the rise of AI in building services space and energy management.
