Looking back on my first year of full-time engineering, I am amazed by how much I have learnt and what I am now capable of. Northrop’s focus on career development has ensured that I have had a huge range of opportunities to grow as a professional engineer, giving me a unique graduate experience.

The most rewarding part of the past year for me has been the opportunity to manage my own projects from fee proposal to construction. This has accelerated my business skills as well as technical ability – for example learning about client relations, or how project meetings are coordinated. I would highly recommend Northrop as a great place to take your first steps as an engineer. The level of support that I’ve received in progressing my career definitely sets Northrop apart – and I can’t wait to see where it will take me in the future.
