Graduate and Undergraduate Recruitment Process

Graduate Recruitment Process

What to expect when applying for a graduate position at Northrop Engineers…

1.       Apply online at www.northrop.com.au/careers for our “Graduate Program” and apply for the office corresponding to your location. Here you will be required to answer some short questions and attach your CV, Cover Letter and Academic Transcript. Note, you can make applications for multiple locations by submitting individual applications. Applications close May 31st 2018.

2.       Your application will be received and duly processed by our recruitment team. We expect this to occur during the first two weeks of June but this step can take some time so we will keep you updated with the email address you supply upon application.

3.       If selected following our review of your application, our recruitment team will conduct a screening call to find out more about you.

4.       If successful you will be asked to come in for an initial interview to meet with a member of our recruitment team and a corresponding discipline manager. These usually take place during mid-late June.

5.       We conduct a 2-stage interview process to really get to know you and what you could bring to Northrop; the second of which we look to have completed during late June / early July. The two interviews will consist of exploring both your experiences and technical questions.

6.       If successful following our interview process, and you secure one of the spots on offer, we will conduct reference checks, following which you will be offered a position in one of our teams. We ideally look to make offers by the end of July.

7.      Our offices close for 2 weeks over the Christmas period 21/12/2018 -7/1/2019.
