Northrop's new Chief Operating Officer, Justin Davies, brings a broad range of business management experience having recently joined the organisation from Net Ltd, a unique New Zealand business servicing the engineering design sector.
Originally attracted to the property and construction sector because of its tangible outcomes, he sees his main role at Northrop as creating opportunities for the organisation's high-performing people.
"The key to Northrop's success is attracting the very best people and creating an environment for them to thrive." Mr Davies says. "If we can continue doing that, we'll attract the best clients and quality projects that showcase our talents which will allow us to attract more talented people."
His main objectives in his first year are to:
· Get to know everyone on the Northrop team well.
· Ensure the Business Support team delivers a high level of service and value across all areas of Northrop's business.
· Implement the Northrop Vision and deliver on the potential the company's leadership knows it has to offer.
"My role, along with the rest of the Business Support team, is to assist Northrop to do what it is good at, more often," Mr Davies says. "To achieve this goal, we'll be delivering efficiencies that make Northrop more agile so we can grasp new opportunities as they present."
