Thank you Bryan Cossart

After 45 years in the industry, starting at the bottom and working up to senior engineer and shareholder of Northrop, Bryan Cossart has decided to move into well-earned retirement.

Bryan has had a magnificent career at Northrop, having been with this company since it was started by Murray Northrop in 1976. Starting as a Structural Drafter, Bryan quickly showed a rare aptitude and passion for engineering, allowing him to take on engineering roles and work directly with clients.

Since then Bryan has played a part in every aspect of the business, including roles as a Structural Engineer, Client Stakeholder, Office Manager, Principal and Director. Having had direct input into the development of the company over the past four decades, Bryan has handed these responsibilities on to others to carry on his legacy.

As is typical for someone of Bryans work ethic and dedication to clients, Bryan will still be available to Northrop and their clients in a casual capacity, when he isn’t trekking around giant sand dunes in the outback. If he doesn’t answer a call or return an email he is likely in a remote part of Australia, so best to contact our Canberra office, and we will find the right person to help.

Bryan’s family have also been a part of the Northrop family and we thank Janet and their children for allowing Bryan to play such a significant role in ensuring the company is where it is today.

We wish Bryan well for the future and commit to provide the same high level and innovative service you have come to expect from Northrop.
