A longstanding partnership with Ronald McDonald House
Northrop is incredibly proud to be a gold sponsor of Ronald McDonald House, having raised more than $400K over the past 23 years to support the families of sick or injured children. Here's what Ross Bingham, Chief Executive Officer, Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern NSW, kindly said about the longstanding partnership.
“Ronald McDonald House’s relationship with Northrop goes way back to the year 2000. Since that time their support has stretched from providing free specialised technical and professional support as we doubled the size of our House at Newcastle, built a Family Room within Gosford Hospital and expanded our Family Retreat at Forster to making us the beneficiary of their hugely successful Annual Golf Day.
Outside of this you will find the Northrop team donating their time to cook for our families in our Meals from the Heart program, bring tables to support our Annual Charity Ball and enter teams in our Annual Golf Days.
Northrop’s donations to Ronald McDonald House over the years exceeds $400,000!! And this does not include their in-kind support that is also substantial.
Northrop have truly embraced the mission of Ronald McDonald House to meet the everchanging needs of seriously ill children and their families.
The team at Northrop exemplify the ‘can do’ attitude where no matter how challenging the task (or short the time frame) they will work out a way to get it done.
It has truly been a privilege to have had the backing of Northrop for the last 23 years as together we have been able to multiply our impact and make a real difference to the lives of seriously ill children and families across the Central Coast and Northern NSW region.”
