Northrop recognised in “best workplaces for graduates” awards

Excited to share that Northrop has been successful in winning five workplace awards based on surveyed graduates working in the business.

The awards from Grad Australia, recognise Northrop’s excellence in engineering consultancy across the following categories:
  • Overall Graduate Satisfaction
  • Employee Engagement
  • Training
  • Social Responsibility
  • Green Initiatives
“Ensuring our graduates have a great experience right from the beginning is very important to us,” says Maddie Kovac, Northrop Early Careers Specialist.

“We’re different to other workplaces, where graduates might find themselves in an office feeling quite separate from the ‘action’. We like to get our graduates onsite, seeing designs come to life and in front of our clients quickly.”

“Our graduates also get to work on technically challenging projects and are exposed to advanced thinking and cutting-edge engineering design.”

At the same time, our graduates receive lots of support from mentors, colleagues, and leaders in the business.

“I was taken aback by how supportive and encouraging everyone is at Northrop,” said Miranda Swift, Cadet Civil Engineer.

“They encourage you to use your voice, so whenever I've had an idea, it's been fuelled by passionate people who want to listen and want to help you."

“No matter how important someone is within the business, they never make you feel like they're too busy to talk to you – no matter how long you’ve been here or how old you are.”

Northrop’s graduate program opens February 28. If you’re interested in finding out more, don’t wait! Visit our Early Careers page and click here to view graduate opportunities when they open on February 28.
