Trudy has over 15 years’ experience in the engineering industry and is a Structural Group Manager at Northrop, responsible for leading an experienced team of engineers. Trudy is a motivated, proactive and successful leader in her field and enjoys working closely with the client, architect and the design team, as well as motivating and inspiring her team.

Trudy has worked within the education sector since graduating from university 15 years ago. Her experience spans both private and public school projects, as well as tertiary education buildings at various universities and TAFEs. Having two young children, Trudy understands the importance of having the right spaces and environment to foster learning, play, and development in children. Being part of a team who are responsible for providing state-of-the-art educational facilities for the community is a rewarding and motivating experience, giving her a real sense of joy and purpose in her work. Trudy brings value to all her projects by taking the time to understand the drivers of the key stakeholders and facilitating a collaborative approach to ensure an efficient and effective design is delivered on time and on budget.
