Ben Reid
With over twenty years of experience in civil and structural design, Ben has extensive knowledge of different building methodologies, which he applies to his clients’ specific needs to produce clear and concise documentation. Specialising in multi-building facilities, Ben is capable of rationalising construction procedures to enable efficient construction sequencing.
Good building information management is not just the computer program but rather managing the design data being provided in the 3D models. With over 20 years of experience in design modelling and managing, Ben’s experience as a BIM manager provides Northrop with invaluable assistance on all projects. He has previously managed the documentation and BIM on large-scale defence projects such as the Gallipoli Barracks Enhanced land force 2 project, 3 Royal Australian Regiment Lavarack Barracks, Headquarters 7 Brigade and Messing Facility Gallipoli Barracks.
Ben has a demonstrated ability to lead teams of drafters located across all Northrop locations. Utilising his strong communication and management skills, Ben always prioritises the needs of his clients to ensure deliverables are submitted on time.
