Shirley is a highly capable structural engineer with a passion in the buildings space. 

With over four years of experience as a New Zealand based engineer before relocating to Melbourne and joining Northrop in 2023, she has been involved in large scale projects where her ability to provide robust and high-quality solutions benefits and contributes to the community.

 

During her time in the industry, Shirley has worked on various multi-disciplinary projects across multiple sectors, such as education, commercial, corrections, industrial, transport and healthcare. Being based in an earthquake prone country, her skills and experience in developing solutions for seismic activity provides additional insight in both the design and assessment space. Shirley enjoys the collaboration aspect between clients and the design discipline teams within a project to provide well rounded and functional solutions.
