Nareen Terrace Aged Care
Located off Louisiana Road, Nareen Terrace was a four Stage development that added approximately 103 Independent Living Units and a new Community Club House to the sites existing aged care facility. Stages 1 to 3 required the design of new roads and footpaths to meet SEPP Seniors and Australian Standard accessibility requirements. New stormwater infrastructure and water quality devices in the form of retention ponds with biofiltration beds were provided as part of the design to capture pollutants and control surface runoff given the proximity of the site to the adjacent existing wetland and flood plain.
In addition to the above, Stage 4 involves the design and construction of a new access road and access driveways off Louisiana Road and the requirement of widening Louisiana Road along the developments frontage. These works required compliance with authority specifications and council approval prior to construction.
