Sydney Fish Market
Construction of the new Sydney Fish Market is currently underway. The new market, which will be built over the water, will house fishmongers, specialty food retailers, restaurants, cafes and bars in a four-storey building.
Central to the design is the distinctive wave-like roof which will be made from timber and 350 aluminium panels studded with skylights. Northrop are partnering with THECA/Rubner and Multiplex, to provide structural engineering services for this beautiful and complex timber roof.
