Northrop

Nick is a structural engineer committed to providing practical and elegant solutions. He has experience delivering innovative and efficient structural designs for a wide range of projects, including commercial offices, residential apartments, industrial warehouses, and institutional buildings. He is particularly interested in designing architecturally sensitive structures and solving complex technical problems.

After joining Northrop as an undergraduate in 2012, Nick graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Engineering, a Bachelor of Design in Architecture, and a University Medal. In 2022, he became a Principal of Northrop.

As technical manager of the Sydney Structural section, Nick is passionate about Northrop's design capabilities. He has led research to develop the company's capacity to design high-bay warehouse slabs and modern engineered timber buildings.
