The Role

Our Structural team is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Draftsperson to join the team. The role is based in our Wollongong office.

Reporting to our Wollongong Structural Group Manager, the primary focus of this role will be to successfully plan and complete assigned drafting projects within agreed budgets and deadlines, consistent with company and project standards. The ability to consistently produce quality documents in agreed time frames will be key to successfully performing this role.

The Candidate

We are looking for an enthusiastic person with the following qualities:
5+ years drafting experience – local experience highly valued
3+ years Revit structural experience
Local experience in Structural Steel, Precast and/or Reinforced concrete buildings
Formal Revit training desirable.

The Role

We’re looking for a proactive Junior Office Administrator to be the go-to support for our Brisbane office. This role will be on a part-time basis for a 6-month fixed-term contract.

You’ll own the day-to-day running of the office—front-of-house, operations and project support—while staying connected with our wider Business Support team.

This is a fast-paced, client-facing role where no two days look the same. You’ll work with everyone from engineers and project managers to senior leadership, keeping things running smoothly and making our office a great place to work.

Day to day responsibilities include:

Be the welcoming face of our office—manage reception, calls, inbox and client visits
Coordinate meetings, catering and travel; keep spaces and supplies in top shape
Provide engineering & project support: proposals, tenders, reports and project records
Liaise with our central Accounts team on invoicing, receipting and client billing queries

What we’re looking for?

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Design and delivery of hydrological and hydraulic (flood) reports.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on projects where you will take the lead on the design package of flooding elements.
  • Technical review of hydrological and hydraulic models, resolve flood modelling issues that arise and provide solutions in a timely manner.
  • Act as a mentor to junior members of the flooding team, providing guidance, training and feedback where necessary.

The Candidate

The Role

Our Structural team based in Coffs Harbour requires a motivated and passionate Structural Engineer to join the team.

With a strong pipeline of upcoming projects with new and existing clients, you will be leading projects whilst supported by a close-knit management team. You will be client facing, with the autonomy of leading projects from concept to construction and technical job delivery – with the support to help you succeed.

Operating with an appropriate level of autonomy to deliver technically challenging projects, key components of this role include, but are not limited to:
Being responsible for technical delivery of a wide range of structural projects including commercial buildings, residential developments, fit-out, aged care and educational facilities.
Working closely with a diverse client base, responding efficiently to client’s needs, including attendance at meetings and inspections. Acting as first POC for design coordination and reviews.
Being responsible for project costings, monitoring project performance and budget ensuring that key dates are met and projects remain within budget.
Assist junior team members in the planning of their project time each week.
Act as a mentor to up and coming young talented engineers.
Contribute to technical development across the Structural section.
Develop skills in business development including preparation of proposals.

  • Proven experience working as a facade engineering consultant in the Australian market.

What we’re looking for?

The Role

Our Structural team is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Draftsperson to join the team. The role is based in either our Sydney or Parramatta office with the ability to work in a hybrid capacity.

Reporting to an industry leading Drafting Group Manager in our Structural Section, the primary focus of this role will be to successfully plan and complete assigned drafting projects within agreed budgets and deadlines, consistent with company and project standards. The ability to consistently produce quality documents in agreed time frames will be key to successfully performing this role.

The Role

Working closely with a diverse client base, responding efficiently to client’s needs, including attendance at meetings and inspections.
Assist with project costings, monitoring project performance and budget ensuring that key dates are met and projects remain within budget.
Provide mentorship to our graduates and undergraduates.
Contribute to technical development across the structural section.
Develop skills in business development including preparation of proposals.
