Lawrence believes that the key to a well-planned and effectively managed approach to projects lies in fostering a robust collaborative environment among the team and leveraging individuals' strengths in specific sectors.
He has honed his skills since starting as an apprentice at TTW in 2007, rapidly progressing to become a mentor to colleagues and eventually assuming the role of a senior drafter. With a remarkable track record of over 15 years, Lawrence has made significant contributions to numerous landmark projects in Sydney, gaining invaluable experience in high-density and high-rise residential developments, refurbishments, commercial ventures, and heritage restorations across various sectors.
Lawrence considers the Sandstones Precinct (Capella Hotel) in Sydney’s CBD as a crucial project in his career. This complex project spanned four years and encompassed preliminary planning and preserving the heritage façade to modelling existing structures and constructing a new scheme. It also involved careful planning for demolition and the challenging task of excavating the basement under an existing building before moving on to the new construction phase of the new build.
