Northrop was proud to partner with CPB Contractors during the Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) phase of Health Infrastructure’s $650M Campbelltown Hospital Redevelopment. Our team delivered hydraulic and fire design services, working closely with CPB Contractors to swiftly finalise their Main Works Order with Health Infrastructure in just five weeks.

Project

Completed in 2016, the Stage 1 Campbelltown Hospital Redevelopment delivered a multi-storey acute services building with inpatient wards, ambulatory, outpatient, allied health services, pathology and clinical information.

Stage 2 works expanded and integrated key clinical and support services to meet the growing needs of South West Sydney’s booming communities. Key features included: a new clinical services building with modern wards and patient facilities; an expanded emergency department; state-of-the-art operating theatres and intensive care unit; new women’s health services including birthing suites and maternity ward; enhanced paediatric services; modern, centrally located mental health units; increased access to outpatient and ambulatory care services; and upgraded medical imaging equipment.
