Andy is particularly adept at the inspection, diagnosis, assessment, remediation and strengthening of existing structures. These projects appeal to Andy because existing structures are inherently highly variable. Engineering on these projects requires additional consideration of constraints and knowledge of historical construction practices and techniques, which is not always necessary for new builds.
