A Chartered Engineer, Design Practitioner and leader of Sydney’s Structural engineering section, Jono has been part of the team since his internship in 2007. Now managing a team of 35, he’s involved in many of our most significant and complex buildings, working closely with clients, architects and builders to bring projects to life.

Jono loves working on education projects, bringing his expertise and industry acumen to the table and collaborating with other Northrop disciplines. He leads our School sector team, focused on partnering with clients on upcoming projects as well as staying at the forefront of industry learnings including Modern Methods of Construction, vertical schools and major roll-outs.

His passion extends beyond engineering, actively mentoring young professionals and contributing to the development of our industry. Whether tackling complex structural challenges or shaping the next generation of engineers, Jonathan’s focus remains: delivering smart, practical solutions with enthusiasm and care.
