Shanica is a sustainability leader shaping inclusive, climate-positive places that connect performance with people, purpose and long-term legacy across Australia’s most community-focused projects.

She brings two decades of experience leading design and delivery outcomes across civic, health, education and community sectors, balancing performance, wellbeing, nature and place. A Green Star, WELL, Living Future, LEED and Passivhaus Accredited Professional, Shanica is known for translating complex sustainability frameworks into clear, practical and achievable outcomes.

Her industry leadership includes contributions to the GBCA’s People and Wellbeing Expert Reference Panel, the Australian Institute of Architects’ Environment Advisory Group, the Property Council of Australia’s Sustainability Committee, the Living Future Oceania Technical Working Group, and the WELL Community Concept.

She also serves as Victorian Chapter Co-Chair of the Australian Passivhaus Association. Her leadership has also been recognised through finalist placements in the NAWIC Contribution to Sustainability Awards in both NSW and Victoria.
