Nathan O’Sullivan
NewcastleWith experience across residential, seniors living, commercial, education, health and public domain projects, Nathan blends strong technical skills with a calm, solutions‑driven approach that helps teams make clear decisions and keep momentum. Nathan works across the full project lifecycle – from early concepts through to delivery – and he’s known for building real partnerships, managing expectations honestly, and keeping projects on track without unnecessary complexity.
Nathan is committed to strengthening Northrop’s technical capability, contributing through the Newcastle Technical Committee, leading the Standard Details Group and supporting the Specifications Group. He also plays a big role in business development, leading the Newcastle BD group and bringing principals, associates, and emerging client partners together to create opportunities and strengthen collaboration across the office.
His recent project work includes St Bede’s Catholic College, delivered with Richard Crookes Constructions and SHAC and recognised at the MBA Newcastle Building Awards; the Newcastle Knights Centre of Excellence, completed with EJE and Richard Crookes Constructions; and Newcastle Grammar School, in partnership with SHAC and Core Project Group.
Away from work, Nathan keeps active – long‑distance running, boxing, trekking, lifting at the gym, and enjoying beach days, travelling, and discovering good wines.
