Luke Lambert

Newcastle
Associate | Group Manager | Structural Engineer

Luke is a Group Manager and Structural Engineer in our Newcastle office, leading a team that delivers bridges, transport infrastructure, industrial and commercial projects. His start in bridge construction and precast concrete gives him a strong feel for how structures are built.

Since joining Northrop in 2021, Luke has led projects from concept through to construction, with experience spanning road and pedestrian bridges, and large commercial and industrial buildings.

With particular depth in precast and prestressed concrete, he brings a practical, economical approach to design and works closely with younger engineers as a mentor and technical reviewer.

A University Medallist with degrees in Civil Engineering (Hons) and Business from the University of Newcastle, Luke also contributes to Northrop’s technical group and WHS Advisory Group.

Beyond the firm, he serves on the Concrete Institute of Australia’s Newcastle committee, helping to organise technical seminars and connect the local concrete engineering community.
