Our Northrop Team in Wollongong have developed over the years into the largest locally grown engineering firm in the region. Our depth of experience is second to none, now providing in-house engineering services across Structural, Civil, Electrical, Hydraulic and Façade engineering disciplines.
Always striving to share our knowledge and experience we regularly host ‘constructive conversations’ workshops with our clients, as well as technical sessions to keep everyone sharp and motivated.

Our dedicated team complete over 100 successful projects annually. These range in size from the biggest developments in Wollongong to smaller residential projects for our select clients.

We’ve proudly worked on significant projects like IMB Civic Place, The Kove in Kiama, and the Powerhouse Museum Discovery. Our expertise spans key sectors including health, schools, university, commercial and residential, ensuring we meet the diverse needs of our community with warmth and dedication.

At Northrop Wollongong, we cherish our family-like atmosphere. Our team enjoys annual bowling days, family days, monthly celebrations, and ‘Constructive Conversations’ evenings, fostering a vibrant and supportive environment. We’re also active in the broader community, participating in local events and committee involvement with the University of Wollongong and the Property Council. Most of our team were born and raised in the area, with over 90% of our engineers graduates from the University of Wollongong, where we also volunteer by providing lectures and tutorials. Building strong relationships is at the heart of everything we do, making our office a wonderful place to work and grow together.
