Gavin Saldanha

Gavin is an Associate, Group Manager and chartered electrical engineer in Canberra. He is known for his collaborative leadership style and passion for sustainable, people-focused design.
Since joining Northrop, Gavin has delivered innovative electrical solutions across education, health, residential and retirement living projects. Appointed Associate in 2022 and Group Manager in 2023, Gavin leads purposefully, building strong relationships and guiding his team to deliver exceptional outcomes.
He advocates for continuous improvement, believing that small, thoughtful experiments drive lasting change. Gavin contributes to the Property Council’s Social Sustainability Committee and the Illuminating Engineering Society, where he fosters better lighting practices across the industry. Outside of work, he’s usually chasing his 10,000 steps, exploring Canberra’s nature trails or sampling the city’s best coffee.
