Josh Neil brings to Northrop 25 years of structural engineering experience having graduated from the University of Queensland in 2004 and practicing with prominent firms both locally, throughout Queensland, as well as interstate and overseas. Subsequently, Josh has built an enormous wealth of knowledge and experience over a long period of time.
 
Josh’s experience is broad, ranging from small architectural, significant residential, hotel, industrial, commercial, health, retail, educational, aviation and defense projects, through to large high rise and significant public buildings. Josh is best known within industry, for his expertise long span and lightweight structures, and particularly for his expertise in sports engineering having been involved in the design of numerous stadia throughout Australia and overseas. As a result of this experience, Josh has expertise in the design of steel and precast buildings and can bring this expertise to projects of any scale. Projects that Josh has led have received industry recognition and awards from his peers for engineering excellence and design standards.
 
At Northrop, Josh offers significant senior experience with the ability to offer clients an experienced hand, whilst always exhibiting the fundamentals of client-side thinking, which is one of the key Northrop differentiators.  Josh always takes a client first approach, to all of his projects, and thrives to develop lasting and robust relationships on all projects.
