Matthew Allen
Newcastle
Matthew has been part of the Northrop team since 2011, contributing to the design and delivery of everything from high-rise residential and commercial buildings to industrial and warehouse developments.
Known for his practical mindset and collaborative approach, Matthew specialises in multi-storey concrete structures and has strong expertise in dynamic analysis, mine subsidence design, façade and construction engineering.
He’s passionate about sharing knowledge and teaches final-year structural engineering design at the University of Newcastle. Outside of work, Matthew enjoys spending time with his young family, playing golf or hitting the gym at lunch.
