Opera Residences, Sydney
The Opera Residences is a 20-storey apartment building consisting of 104 high-end residential apartments and 4 retail/ food and beverage tenancies. The prestigious harbour-side building, located on Bennelong Point in Sydney, broke Australia’s apartment price record twice in the same week (at time of writing). Given the iconic location and price of these apartments, quality and consistency across all aspects of delivery are extremely important to project success.
In order to maintain quality and help mitigate project risks, Northrop were appointed by Project Managers - PDS Group - to provide an independent overview in the form of peer reviewing the electrical, hydraulic, wet fire and mechanical services. Throughout the project, we continued to maintain Principal and senior involvement to ensure a high level of client support and industry experience. Through our multi-disciplinary offering, we were able to provide a coordinated and uniformed approach to reviews, off-site and on-site inspections, as well as technical reports.
