It’s our responsibility

Our people help design and shape the future of the places we live and work in. That brings big responsibilities — to balance economic realities, climate impact, and human well-being with practical, effective solutions.
To stay accountable, we assess the impact of our work — both as a business and on our projects — through the lens of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance).

  • Environmental

Making a real impact on the land where we live and work.

  • Social

Building a company culture where our people can bring their best selves to work.

  • Governance

Good governance is the foundation of our business.

Leadership Responsibilities

Northrop’s Leadership Team is led by our Managing Partner, Mark Sturgess, who works closely with the Board to set our strategic direction. The NLT is focused on delivering that strategy while keeping our people- and client-focused culture front and centre. They do this by living Northrop’s values and making sure our systems and processes deliver real value – for both our people and our clients.

Board Objectives

The Board of Directors brings together subject matter experts from Northrop and the broader industry, to create policy change and assess the effectiveness of its implementation. The primary committees are:
– Finance Governance & Risk Committee
– Inclusion Advisory Committee
– Climate Action Committee

Quality Management

The Northrop team implements our QA system throughout every aspect of a project from conceptual design and design development, to contract documentation and the construction phase. It is third party certified in compliance with ISO 9001:2015.

Environmental Management

Through the implementation of environmental management practices, Northrop aims to deliver all services in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner. Our procedures are third party certified in compliance with ISO 14001:2015.
