Having started drafting in 1995, Brad has gained substantial drafting experience and technical skills working in NSW, QLD, and the UK. This experience has given him a broad range of knowledge to resolve issues and find solutions that meet client needs in the structural drafting and design of residential, aged care, commercial, institutional, and industrial projects.

Over his career, Brad has found providing training, supervision, mentoring, and expertise to numerous industry professionals and clients to be one of the most rewarding aspects of his working life.

Brad’s ability to adapt to challenging situations has contributed to the development of an extensive knowledge of the construction industry. Applying that knowledge to ensure valuable client-side thinking is something he has found particularly fulfilling.

The progression through 3D modelling, BIM, and clash detection has been evident to most in the industry. Having started his modelling experience in Revit Structure and BIM management in 2005, he now can’t imagine structural design without it. The ability to think and design in 3D, combined with his substantial technical skills in structural detailing, has allowed him to create precise 3D (BIM) models—something he has become very passionate about
