Acoustics Manager

Neil is an acoustic engineer with a practical, solutions-focused approach to noise and vibration challenges across infrastructure, development and urban planning projects.

Since joining Northrop in 2023, he’s brought a blend of technical rigour and clear communication to every project, helping clients easily navigate complex regulatory requirements.

He has worked on many developments, from early learning centres and residential buildings to solar farms, commuter car parks and hospitality venues. His experience includes construction and operational noise assessments, vibration impact studies and long-term monitoring programs. Whether it’s managing construction noise at Pitt Street Metro Station or ensuring a new childcare centre meets local acoustic standards, Neil brings calm and clarity to complex environments.

With a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (First-Class Honours) from UNSW, Neil combines deep technical knowledge with a genuine interest in delivering quality outcomes for clients and communities alike.
