Promenade Parramatta is located adjacent to the Parramatta River, spread across three separate units with an interconnecting public road system in a flood prone area. The project involves the conversion of an area of low density housing into a new 750 unit development. It’s a significant project for Starryland, marking their first major development in NSW.
Integrating the authority requirements in relation to the road system, in balance with the flood issues and the commercial viability of the development was a challenge.
We were instrumental in developing a balance between security, flood flow requirements, aesthetics and the client’s desires.
