Julia Reserve Youth Park, Oran Park

Julia Reserve is a new recreational park and community space aimed at providing a mix of activities for the youth of Oran Park in Sydney’s west. The park was developed by Camden Council to accommodate the needs of a rapidly growing family community which will see an expansion of over 30,000 residents over the next 20 years. Northrop were engaged to provide structural design services for the striking art installation which incorporates art from the local community, as well as the parkour wall throughout the park.

Finishes and connections were especially critical to the art installation and our team took the time to understand the complex design in order to ensure that construction was sympathetic to the artistic vision.

In addition to the unique central artwork and parkour zone, the reserve precinct also contains a community centre, basketball court, ping pong tables and a kick-about space.
