Northrop has been involved with this hospital’s redevelopment since 2007. With over $35 million spent on the development, Lingard Private Hospital offers a new 41-bed surgical ward, new reception and waiting area, coffee shop, upgraded pathology, pharmacy, imaging service, two additional operating theatres and expanded CSSD and recovery services as well as a new day surgery centre.

The site also provides newly surfaced car spaces, clear directional signage and the flexibility for further development in the future. Northrop have been heavily involved with the structural and civil design and documentation for these stages which includes minor works sewer designs.

Stages 5 & 5B

Stage 5 of the redevelopment saw the addition of four new operating theatres, chamber substation, loading/unloading dock facilities, 24 bed ward and new lifts, stairs and links to the existing building.

Stage 5B, still under construction, consists of the construction of a two-storey carpark on an adjacent site which will be designed to support an additional three floors in the future.
