Smart Design Studio engaged Northrop to provide engineering services for a unique residential and commercial development in Surry Hills.
The ceilings of the new build were to be finished in concrete and treated with a contemporary industrial feel, similar to other Surry Hills developments.
Northrop were required to cater a design solution, suitable of the unique architecture, in an aim to maintain the aesthetic nature of the building
Northrop worked closely with the client and Calida, providing support and advice from project inception through to completion.
Smart Design Studio was proud to win the 2017 AIA National Architecture Award and Multi-Unit Residential award.
